We, (Newton Ellis & Co.), undertake to repair your camera, camcorder,
binoculars, lens, meter or any other photographic and optical equipment we
have agreed to look at as a repair to the best of our ability and knowledge.

On some equipment repairs a deposit is required.  This is non-refundable
but will come off any final repair bill as long as it is sucessfully completed by
us or by any agent working for us.  Currently the deposit is -
£20 for digital still cameras and £35 for camcorders.

In some cases we may need to re-estimate the repair cost.
Usually this is because it may need expensive spares parts, or we may
have suggested that it has to be sent on to a specalist repair agent, or you
just change your mind about the repair after we have been given
permission to carry out the work, then the deposit will not be refunded.
This does however go someway towards our costs.  We will however issue
a deposit refund within 24hrs. if you change your mind as long as we
have not started work on that particular repair.

If a deposit has been paid to us and not refunded and the repair
is not completed for what ever reason and (1) you require a report
for your insurance company then we will provide one free of charge.
(2) If you have posted a repair to us and it is un-repaired then
we will return it free of any other cost to you if required.
