If you can't get into our shop then why not post your repair in. We can post it back to you UK & EU.
Why not download our booking-in form, it helps to speed things up and can be viewed and printed out in Word or WordPad.

How do I get an estimate?
If you want an estimate of cost for the repair or service of your camera or other equipment, please bring it into our shop where we can usually give an estimate while you wait, free of charge.
If you can’t get in to our shop, send us an email with your question or phone our help desk on - 0151 236 1391 or 0844 870 1391.  We will try to give you an idea of cost over the phone or just send it in to us for inspection and free estimate.  Repairs are usually plus carriage (if you require or you can collect) and plus vat.  International customers can also contact us for an idea of shipping costs.

Where can I find you?
We are situated at 29 Cheapside, Liverpool city centre; which runs from Dale Street to Tithebarn Street.  If you stand with your back to the Municipal buildings on Dale Street, Cheapside is opposite.  From Tithebarn Street, Victoria Hall is at the bottom end of Cheapside.  If you are driving in, you will have to use Tithebarn Street to enter Cheapside (one way system).

See local map on 'Map and Information' page which shows the position of our shop or use the  Google Maps service to find us:  Our location on Google Maps

How long do repairs take?
It depends on the type of equipment - nature of the fault - whether it needs spare parts ordering and the time of year.  Some repairs are completed within a week, most within 2 weeks.  You can phone or email us to check on the status of your equipment at any time you wish.
The older classic cameras and lenses (pre 1970’s) may take longer due to them being quite time consuming.

Can I send my camera, camcorder, binoculars or lens in for repair?
Yes, we do a lot of repairs by post.  We use a courier or 'Royal Mail' for next day delivery (UK mainland) for returning most repairs or purchases unless it is a small item.  For overseas items we use 'Royal Mail' with insurance.

If you post in your equipment for repair we recommend 'Special Delivery' or 'Signed  For' services at the Post Office, put the repair in a good box with about 2" of packing around it, you can use bubble wrap, shredded paper, newspaper etc.  Why not download our booking-in form, it helps to speed things up and can be viewed and printed out in Word or WordPad.  It also has useful posting and packing information.

Do you repair camcorders?
We look at all makes and models of camcorders - Digital (including - Mini DV, DVD, HDD and memory card), Video 8, Hi 8 and VHS-C.  If it is an older model (12 years or older) best to check with us first.

How can I pay for my repair or purchase?
You can pay us by Debit Card, Bank transfer, Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Delta, Cheque, BACS, PayPal, or P/O’s.  Some types of payment may incur a service charge, please ask first.
